The VACF12-24KV series Medium Voltage (M.V.) air type load switch and its combination apparatus are specifically designed for indoor M.V. switchgear operating at AC 24kv and 50Hz. This load switch boasts high technical parameters and reliable performance. The operating mechanism is primarily manual spring energy storage type, but it can also be equipped with an electromagnetic spring operating mechanism. Thanks to its air pressure arc extinguishing principle, the load switch can be used multiple times without the need to replace the arc extinguishing tube.
Under normal circuit conditions, the M.V. load switch can effortlessly turn on, carry, and turn off load current. It also has the capability to handle short-circuit current and withstand short-circuit current for a specified duration. This makes the M.V. load switch suitable for installation in ring network switch cabinets and other types of switch cabinets used for receiving and distributing electric energy.
