General description

The 40.5kV series vacuum interrupter is a top-of-the-line product that boasts a ceramic insulating shell, a middle sealing or built-in fixed shielding tube, and copper and chromium alloy contact material. The cup-shaped longitudinal magnetic electrode has been optimized for uniform electromagnetic field distribution, which greatly improves the stability of the breaking capacity. Additionally, a special sophisticated process has been implemented to enhance the insulation level of the product.
This vacuum interrupter is designed to be matched with relevant indoor and outdoor vacuum circuit breakers or vacuum distribution devices. It is especially useful as a control and protection device in transmission and distribution electrical power grids with a frequency of 50Hz/60Hz, rated voltage of 40.5kV, rated current of 630A-2500A, and rated short circuit breaking current of 12.5kA-31.5kA. VI is mainly applied to VZN85-40.5kV series outdoor vacuum circuit breaker. Meets or exceeds the requirement of IEC62271-100 and E2 level in GB1984-2003.
